Annette is the AIH National Secretary, being a full member of AIH after moving to Brisbane in 1989 and crossing paths with the QLD Council members. She is a practising horticulturist, landscape designer and an accredited industry professional development specialist holding a Diploma in Training and Assessment Systems. Her expertise is based upon 34 years of agricultural and horticultural practice.
Since March 2006 her company, A.I.M.S, as Project Managing Consultants, has been working with two Singapore government agencies: the National Parks Board, developing and implementing the Certified Practising Horticulturist Programme and the Workforce Development Agency, designing, developing and implementing two qualifications frameworks - Landscape and Floristry Workplace Skills Qualifications (WSQ). After all Annette's first love remains the collecting of unusual plants, tropical species and orchids.
Annette had the honour of being conferred the distinction of a Fellow of the Institute in 2000 for her support for, and work within, both the horticulture industry sector and the Institute.
