Kim Morris is the AIH National President and a passionate member since 1993 specialising in tropical horticulture and landscapes. Originally from Sydney, it was love at first sight with the tropics after a short holiday and he has made it his home.

Annette Irish FAIH
National Vice President

Annette is the AIH National Vice-President, being a full member of AIH after  moving to Brisbane in 1989 and crossing paths with the QLD Council members. She is a practising horticulturist, landscape designer and an accredited industry professional development specialist holding a Diploma in Training and Assessment Systems. Her expertise is based upon 34 years of agricultural and horticultural practice.

Joe Garnham MAIH
AIH National Secretary

Joe Garnham completed his formal training and education in Production Horticulture and Business Management in 1993.
He operated his own successful enterprise for a number of years – growing commercial flowers. In 2000 he transferred this knowledge to the training and education of others.

This work has taken him to every corner of Queensland. This exposure to the full spectrum of the industry has only enhanced his knowledge of the industry and this knowledge is used to improve his delivery content to the industry. Joe has added to his CV by developing and delivering training in the areas of Environmental work practices, Quality Assurance and Chemical Risk Management.

Wayne Van Balen MAIH
AIH National Treasurer

Wayne Van Balen's extensive horticultural career began in the 1960's, as a fourth generation Apple Orchardist. In the 1980's he was Extension officer and Executive Directors assistant for the NSW Nursery Industry Association.   

Richard May MAIH
National Council Representative - NSW and NSW President

Richard May being the son of a passionate gardener grew up with home grown vegies and ever increasing gardens till at the age of 17 he was maintaining a ¾ acre block whilst his Dad tended the vegie patch.
