AGHS: Botanic Gardens – A History of Early Convict Settlement

Phil Adam will talk on ‘botanic gardens – a history from early convict settlement’.

 

Time: 11.00 am

Venue: Commissariat Store, 115 William St, Brisbane.

Additional highlight: A walk will be conducted in the City Botanic Gardens at 12:00 and then a guided walk, 1:00 pm, around the Gardens. The Gardens were established in 1828 to provide food for the early penal colony as described in Phil Adam’s talk.

Cost: $20 per person including light lunch.
