Free Walk and Talk at the Wallis Creek Watergarden

January 19 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am

Join us on our first Walk and Talk of the year!

See an absolute spectacular range of flowering water lilies and hear expert advice on propagating/growing and how to best use water lilies in a wide range of uses, from pot culture to large ponds and dams. Also get tips on setting up ponds for these magnificent plants.

Michael (the owner) also has glasshouses with rare plants, as well as irises, orchids and carnivorous plants to see.

The Gardens

The nursery includes extensive ornamental gardens with many examples of pond landscaping, water plants, and many other interesting plants. You can explore the gardens and the nursery yourself and see all the plants we have on display and the way they are grown. You can also purchase plants at the nursery.

The Gallery

The nursery includes a small gallery with works by local artists and various water lily and lotus related products. Through the gardens, you will also find various ornamental sculptures and other works on display.

It will be a great day! There will be hot water and morning tea. (You are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch if you like.)

No Cost.
