Planthunter x Garden Life Plant Fete

Celebrate the joy, beauty, and power of plants at the inaugural Planthunter x Garden Life Plant Fete on May 11. This one-day event will feature specialist plant growers, plant thinkers, local makers, delicious food and more.

Conceived by Georgina Reid of The Planthunter and Richard Unsworth of Garden Life, the event is a leafy take on a traditional school fete. It’s a day for green thumbs, black thumbs and all shades in between, to connect, celebrate and learn.

Entry is via gold coin donation. Door proceeds will be donated to Jarrah House, a treatment centre for drug and alcohol-dependent women.


When: Saturday 11 May 2019 from 10.00am – 4.00pm
Where: Garden Life, 158 Princes Highway, St Peters, NSW 2044

Crop Swap: From 11.00am – 12.30pm
Talks: Talks and Q&A sessions on a range of topics, morning and afternoon

Jarrah House is a treatment centre for alcohol and drug-dependent women. Their mission is
to promote the empowerment, health, and well-being of women and children by providing
an effective and therapeutic residential drug and alcohol treatment service. The Jarrah
House program is built on the belief that women have the right to choose the ways in
which they make the desired changes in their lives, and it’s the only women’s shelter in NSW
that allows women to keep their children with them while they undertake treatment
