General membership offers the ideal all-round options for professional horticultural recognition. General members are recognised by the post-nominal MAIH after their name, indicating professional accreditation.

How to Join

Joining is easy. Simply read the terms and conditions and then complete your details online below or complete the Word form. Registering will create a member account for you.

Terms & Conditions

  • Applicants must have a minimum of Certificate III, Trade or equivalent in the field of Horticulture.
  • A copy of your qualification must be attached with your application for membership approval – you can attach and submit forms after registering with this form.
  • For professional horticulturists.
  • Use the post-nominal MAIH following your name.
  • Receive the monthly AIH National Newsletter and other notices and concessions for attending AIH events and workshops.
  • Gain access to job opportunities and AIH mentors.
